Jürgen Klopp's side are the favourites to land the midfielder. On Real Madrid's radar, Rice has been valued at €85m by West Ham United. Jürgen Klopp is aware of the need to shore up his engine room at the helm of one of the Premier League's most iconic powers.  Liverpool can expect a major facelift in that area ahead of the 2023-2024 season.

In that respect, it appears that the Merseyside outfit have placed themselves in an ideal position to recruit Declan Rice (23 years old).  We are talking about a fantastic midfielder who wears the colours of West Ham United, a London club that will give the green light to his departure during the summer transfer window in 2023. According to the Telegraph, the Hammers have placed a valuation of €85m on their player. The England international, who has been busy at the World Cup in Qatar with the Three Lions, is on the radar of Real Madrid.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also in the running. However, the Red Devils have been the favourites in terms of bringing in the Briton. West Ham have come to terms with their stark reality with Rice, who would make the move to one of the Premiership giants. That said, Klopp's Liverpool will have to dig deep to sign Declan.

In theory, the midfielder will leave West Ham during the summer transfer window in 2023. And it seems that Jürgen Klopp's side have the edge in the race for Rice. All the indications are that Liverpool will be faced with a desperate need to shore up their wide midfield ahead of next season. The reason? With a number of departures in that area of the pitch looming for the Anfield outfit, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be keen to address the issue as soon as possible.

Declan Rice to arrive in 2023

As it is, Football Insider reports that the iconic Premier League powerhouse is in pole position for Declan Rice (23). A talented midfielder who, barring any last-minute surprises, is more than determined to leave West Ham United at the end of the 2022-2023 campaign. It seems that this player is going to opt for the Merseyside team's proposal, so he would be at Klopp's disposal. However, the Reds know that this is a long-distance race and several episodes of the soap opera have yet to be resolved. It's all over for Declan Rice and Liverpool.
