Although the result was positive and Liverpool beat their opponents, Gomez has not managed to achieve a regularity that allows him to establish himself as a quality substitute that Klopp can count on whenever his centre-backs are not available, because through bad plays and interventions he has shown that rather than a support he is a disadvantage that can change the course of the game but against his team, having perhaps the Briton a new opportunity in the next round of the EFL Cup to clean up his image.
