Last season ended in disappointment for Liverpool fans, as our team failed to qualify for the next edition of the Champions League, so we will have to wait at least one more year to return to the most prestigious tournament in the world at club level. However, the failure served to make us realize that the team needs a renewal that will allow us to remain in the elite of European football.

To achieve this, Jürgen Klopp has had to make difficult decisions as the team's priority now is to rejuvenate the squad and focus on the medium and long term project. That is why this summer the board did not renew players who in past years had been very important to the club's success, such as Roberto Firmino and James Milner.

Instead, both Klopp and the board have reportedly agreed to focus on bringing in young players as well as developing the talent that already exists among Liverpool's promising youngsters. However, there are players whose potential is so high that they have aroused the interest of other teams in Europe, who would be looking to take the promises of our team.

Such is the case of Fabio Carvalho, the 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder Fabio Carvalho, who is considered one of Liverpool's great jewels and is one of Jürgen Klopp's favorite players. A few days ago, RB Leipzig reportedly made an offer to buy Carvalho permanently, which was immediately rejected by the Anfield board, however the Bundesliga club has insisted on wanting Fabio to play for them next season.

Carvalho's future

Considering that Fabio Carvalho needs more playing time than Klopp can guarantee him at Liverpool at the moment, but considering that he is one of Liverpool's great promises, Jürgen Klopp has decided that the Portuguese will leave for RB Leipzig but only on loan for one season and without an option to buy.
