While England crashed out of the Qatar 2022 World Cup after losing in the quarter-finals to France, one of the standout performers in the England side was Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder confirmed that everything we see him do in the Bundesliga and Champions League, he can translate to the big stage, as he has done at this World Cup.

With a goal and an assist, the 19-year-old midfielder proved that his starting place in the 'Three Lions' was more than justified. Now, back in Germany, Jude will have to deal with the desire of several clubs who have been interested in signing him since before the World Cup.

As reported by the newspaper 'As', since March the main candidate to sign the Englishman is Real Madrid. The idea of Florentino Perez was to have him in June this year, however, the great level of Luka Modrić and his subsequent renewal for a season put on hold the signing of Bellingham.

Now, with an evident revaluation after the World Cup, the 'Merengues' will return to the charge and start the dialogue with Borussia Dortmund. Relations between the Spaniards and Germans are good, especially for the previous negotiations they had for the signings of Achraf Hakimi and Nuri Sahin.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are not the only club with strong options to sign the midfielder. Liverpool have also entered the fray and, like Los Blancos, also have a strong case to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.

Club convinced Bellingham's family

Jude Bellingham would welcome a return to England after successfully completing his formative years in Germany, where he arrived after leaving his native Birmingham. Joining the Reds would mean being closer to his family, training with one of the best coaches in the world - Jurgen Klopp - and fighting for more silverware than in German football, where Dortmund are often relegated by Bayern Munich.
