German coach struggles to identify players for Saturday's match

It has been a fantastic week for Liverpool FC. After the goal in Glasgow against Rangers FC where Mohamed Salah scored his hat-trick, the Red's got back on track and beat Manchester City at home with a decisive goal from Salah. With morale high, in midweek they beat West Ham United at Anfield again by the narrowest of margins, with former Benfica man Darwin Núnez scoring the only goal of the game.

One constant that has plagued the Merseyside side is injuries, which have been a headache for coach Jürgen Klopp, who recently confirmed to the media that the departure of Uruguayan player Núñez in the game against the Hammers was just a concern. "When someone is five minutes in bed (physiotherapy), there is concern. But with Darwin it's just a precaution," he said.

With Luis Diaz (knee) and Diogo Jota (calf) both out until next year, and the Portuguese player set to miss the World Cup, Klopp will have to move to a 4-2-2-2-2 formation that has been a lifeline in recent weeks, with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed shining in attack and scoring crucial goals.

In addition to the aforementioned absentees, Arthur Melo (thigh), Joel Matip (calf) and Ibrahima Konaté (knee) have yet to return, while Naby Keita (thigh) has already been cleared to return to training this week and make the squad for the clash against the Tricky Trees.
