The Dortmund midfielder is one of the most wanted players in Europe

Jürgen Klopp is one of the key names in Real Madrid's bid to sign Jude Bellingham. The manager of the Merseyside side was one of the Anfield side's main assets in trying to convince the England midfielder that a move to his home league is the best option. However, he could also be one of the main impediments to Liverpool completing the signing of one of the most exciting young players in world football.

Jude Bellingham plans to leave Borussia Dortmund in 2023, but he will do so to a team that offers him all the necessary guarantees and is truly at the top of the game. At the moment, Jürgen Klopp's side are not in that situation: at the moment, Liverpool are not in the Champions League qualification places, which would automatically eliminate them as a possible option for Bellingham's future in the midfielder's own eyes.

The German manager is one of the main culprits behind the dismal progress of the English club, who have been unable to reach the top four of the Premier League since Sadio Mané left for Bayern Munich: since this separation, the Senegalese player has had better records than his former team, who are about to suffer a major blow to their future sporting planning.

Thus, Real Madrid would be the best positioned to acquire the services of Jude Bellingham, since the English '22' has already shown that he is only thinking about his career as one of the most important players in the next 10-15 years of the beautiful game, and signing for a team that in its first year cannot qualify for the Champions League is not a good sign.

Furthermore, the finances of the Reds are not in the best possible state: Borussia Dortmund's 150 million euro asking price for Bellingham is an unattainable figure for a club that has recently been put up for sale by its current owners. The overall situation at Anfield has not been good since the start of the current season, and that could have a significant and serious impact on Jude Bellingham's future.
