At the beginning of his career he seemed to be a great promise, however little by little that idea has been diluted, since the Fabio Carvalho, since in his beginnings with Fulham he gave great performances that were worth for Liverpool to sign him in 2022, and it was believed that Liverpool would be the team where he could finish polishing his great qualities, however he could not convince Jurgen Klopp.

During his stay at Liverpool during the 2022/23 season he played 21 games and scored 3 goals, although in the beginning he showed signs of being a player with great potential, he could not convince Klopp to be a constant player and little by little his participation was less and less, and many fans believed that he deserved to play more and Klopp did not give him enough minutes to show his great quality.

However, for the 2023/24 season Klopp no longer wanted him and he went on loan to RB Leipzig in Germany, where it was hoped that he could raise his level, so far he has not been able to shine as expected, as so far he has only played 20 minutes of 180 and the outlook does not look good for the Portuguese youth player, so Fabio will have to work hard to fill the eye of coach Marco Rose and to earn a place in the starting line-up of the German team.

Carvalho's future uncertain

If he does not improve, the Portuguese attacker would have to report to Liverpool next summer, however, he would not have many opportunities as Klopp would not use him and this would give Jürgen the reason for not giving him more playing time and sending him on loan to Germany. Carvalho has a contract with Liverpool until 2027, so he will have his work cut out if he is to get the chance to shine.
