The Merseyside outfit will be looking to continue the winning streak they have been on since their 7-1 thrashing of Rangers FC in Glasgow, before going on to beat Manchester City (1-0) and West Ham United (1-0) at Anfield and claiming their fourth win in a row when they take on bottom-placed Nottingham Forest, who have yet to win at the start of the season.

Jürgen Klopp knows that the team Liverpool FC faced last March in the FA Cup quarter-finals will be totally different to the one they will face this weekend at the City Ground. That night, a late goal from Portugal's Diogo Jota (now out through injury), saw the Red's through to the next round, where they were able to start on the road to the title, which was the eighth FA Cup in the Pool's history.

Since that match, a lot has happened for both clubs. For starters, the 'Tricky Trees' were promoted to the Premier League in a comeback that took 23 years, and although they are not going through their best moment, they can boast two Champions League titles (78/79 & 79/80) in their history. Liverpool, on the other hand, added another FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield to their extensive list of titles this summer.

Despite starting as favourites, Klopp knows that his team will have to tread carefully, as every sensation could be a factor, as is the case with the crowd, who will make themselves felt from the first minute. "A lot of things are clear. The atmosphere will be outstanding, I'm 100 per cent sure of that. When we played them last time, they were flying, they came out onto the pitch full of confidence. They are a good team and they deserve our respect," the German said.

The Klopp boss also spoke about what he expects to see on the home pitch. "In terms of the line-up, (Brennan) Johnson will play, he played in the cup and (Ryan) Yates also played if I'm not mistaken. Obviously we'll have different players on the pitch. We've put together footage of them, but it's difficult because they have a lot of options, especially up front," the coach commented in the pre-match press conference.
