After having a discreet participation in the World Cup in Qatar, the jewel in the attack of the Mexican National Team, Irving Lozano, seems to have reached some interest from some of the most important clubs in Europe, spreading recently a rumour that places him away from Napoli to now dress in red and play in England as a new element of Liverpool.

The interest in the Mexican player may have been sparked not exactly in Qatar, but rather a few months ago when the Reds and the Gli Azurri had to face each other twice during the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, a competition where Lozano, despite not having much activity, proved to be effective every time he came on the pitch.

It is not at all new that the red team of Merseyside is looking to strengthen all its lines in the coming transfer markets, because with the multiple casualties due to injury and the football instability of certain elements, have caused the German tactician, Jurgen Klopp, has to set his sights on new players that fit with his scheme of work, reporting the Twitter account, @Anfieldbr, that Lozano is on the radar of the English institution.

The chances that "Chuky" Lozano has of arriving on Merseyside in the not too distant future don't seem too far-fetched, as between the injuries to Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, the Mexican attacker could occupy one of those positions while both players recover successfully, with the Colombian Diaz, who has already returned to training with the club on the mini-tour they are holding from the Middle East, taking the lead.

Liverpool go for Chucky Lozano

While the priority for Klopp and his coaching staff is to bring in Jude Bellingham to correct those midfield deficiencies, the Reds have not ruled out the possibility of signing a new attacking player who can generate more internal competition in the squad, with the German coach realising that his squad currently lacks a high-quality attacking substitute to create danger on the flanks.
