A few hours before making their debut in the Europa League, Liverpool made an important announcement as they announced the agreement they reached with the company UPS, an agreement that will help the Reds financially and allow them to aspire to new signings from the January window, especially the players that coach Jürgen Klopp was hoping to sign this summer but for various reasons was unable to sign them.

Behind a statement the Reds revealed this sponsorship agreement with one of the most important companies in the country and although the duration of the agreement was not disclosed, it is expected to be for at least the next 4 years, making this company the first official partner of logistics and global shipping with which the institution agrees.Ben Latty, commercial director at Liverpool FC, said: “We are proud to be announcing this global partnership with UPS. As one of the world’s largest companies, UPS are bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our already successful retail operations.

“We are looking forward to seeing the impact this will have, and how it will improve fans’ experiences around the world.” With millions of small business owners from around the world cheering LFC on every week, the partnership will also allow for UPS to engage with its global customer base in a new way. “We’re proud to be the official logistics sponsor of Liverpool Football Club,” said Kevin Warren, chief marketing and customer experience officer at UPS. “Our global, integrated logistics network means we can offer unmatched speed and reliability as LFC continues to grow its retail operations. We’re ready to deliver team spirit and pride to LFC fans – no matter where they are in the world.”

A new reinforcement could arrive

According to the journalist James Pearce this agreement will leave Liverpool around 35 million money that will allow them to aspire to new signings as soon as possible having priorities in two players that are the desire of the coach Jurgen club but for various reasons could not sign in this summer window and now will seek to do so in winter. The two players are Brazilian midfielder André Trindade and Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié.
