During the last few years in which our Liverpool has achieved success at international level, several players have inscribed their name in the club's history, and some have become true legends, as they have managed to win the hearts of the fans by bringing titles and glory to our team. And without a doubt, the best player we have had in recent times is Mohamed Salah.

The Pharaoh has established himself not only as the best player in the team, but also as one of the best players in the world. Given this, many teams around the world have had interest in taking Salah to reinforce their squads, however on repeated occasions the Egyptian delnater has shown that he only wants to play for Liverpool, and has endorsed his enormous commitment to the club.

However, it is not unreasonable that with Salah's age (31 years old), Jürgen Klopp is already starting to look for his replacement in the future, and although we all hope that day never comes, the reality is that the team needs to prepare for an eventual departure of Salah, either because he decides to leave for another club or because he retires at Anfield.

In that sense, Klopp already has a player in mind who he believes could take his place in the coming years, and that is Federico Chiesa, the Italian winger who currently plays for Juventus in Serie A and is valued at 40 million euros. Chiesa is wanted by Liverpool as Klopp sees him as a potential heir to Salah in the coming years, however his arrival at Anfield might not be as close as many believe.

Chiesa's disdain for Liverpool

It has been reported for several days now that Liverpool have a strong interest in Federico Chiesa, however in the face of rumors linking him to the Reds, the 25-year-old recently stated that for now he is only thinking about Juventus and that he is happy in Italy.
