As we have been telling you these days in Don Balón, two of the names that are set to be the big shakers in the transfer market are Cody Gakpo and Jude Bellingham, two players who are having a great World Cup and who, according to Football Insider, are both targets for Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool.

In fact, such is the interest on the part of the Reds in incorporating the two players -Gakpo, presumably, in the winter transfer window and Bellingham in the summer- that, according to the information from the aforementioned media, the English side are already preparing the corresponding offers to convince PSV and Borussia Dortmund. Two offers that, together, would not go below 230 million euros, as Liverpool would offer 130 million pounds (about 175 kilos in euros) for Jude Bellingham and 50 million pounds (about 58 in euros) for Cody Gakpo.

New rival Liverpool must beat to sign Jude Bellingham

In this way, the deal for two of the most outstanding players of the World Cup, would amount to no more and no less than 233 million euros, approximately. A figure that, of course, would make Liverpool one of the best teams in the world, if not for the names in the squad. Be that as it may, with other European giants interested in Gakpo and Bellingham, such as PSG, Manchester United, City and Real Madrid, among others, it is very difficult for the Reds to secure both signings.

That is why, according to the aforementioned media, Liverpool have set their number one priority on Jude Bellingham, as Klopp understands that he is a differential player who makes the team play and who, practically, shines in every game. As for Gakpo, the Anfield bosses are aware that he is also a generational talent with a great goal, so, as we said, he will be their second priority in the market.

Klopp wants Bellingham and Gakpo

In any case, in view of Liverpool's poor start to the season - especially in the Premier League, where they went into the World Cup break in a disappointing sixth position - it is clear that the squad is in urgent need of change. For the time being, two of the most outstanding players of the ongoing World Cup, Cody Gakpo and Jude Bellingham, have been earmarked to bolster the squad. From here on, and with many more teams, apart from Liverpool, interested in both players, only time will tell what will happen to them.
