The Liverpool boss tried to calm his rival's momentum from the dugout

When a manager's planned strategies do not go according to plan, frustration and anger are bound to be the order of the day on the substitutes' bench, as was the case in Liverpool's clash with Tottenham, where Italian boss Antonio Conte came to his senses as his side found themselves trailing in the closing minutes of the game.

With the score at 2-1 and his team playing better after the goal of their striker, Herry Kane, the Spurs manager evidently did not want the game to stop and his players on the pitch to lose the rhythm of competition, rushing a throw-in from the wing by Andrew Robertson, infuriating the Italian by not giving speed to the play and ending up getting into the Liverpool bench to handle a ball that Pep Lindjer had in his hands.

The obvious wrongdoing on the part of the Tottenham boss meant that some of the Reds staff jumped up to complain to the Italian, but Jurgen Klopp himself set an example of fair play by gesturing with his hands for calm to avoid any sort of scuffle between the two dugouts, which resulted in just a reprimand and a yellow card for Conte.

Evidently the fact that Klopp had the advantage on the scoreboard and had the game's actions under control meant that the German did not enter into discussion about what happened from off the pitch, achieving with his gesture to ask for calm that more users on social networks made fun of Conte and now his way of acting, not having a good night at all for the Spurs boss as he left with the defeat in every sense of the word.

Although the Liverpool boss has also been involved in some problems from the bench by complaining about the referees, he learned from his mistake against Manchester City and knew how to handle the situation better against this rival, cleaning his image with that gesture that somehow helped the game to get out of control and the last minutes were chaotic and with endless controversy.
