Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on striker Darwin Nunez for his fine form but said on Friday that the young Uruguayan has yet to find his place at the Premier League club. Nunez, 23, scored a goal in the 2-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday, taking his tally to five goals in the last seven games in all competitions.
"Great strides, great strides, the kid is an unbelievable package. He's a real threat in the end zone, he's involved in a lot of things," Klopp told reporters. "He's always an option to pass, to cross the ball. He came on (against Napoli), he didn't play long but he was involved in the two goals, so big steps," he added. The win against Napoli eased the pressure on Klopp after back-to-back English league defeats against relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.

He's the reason he left Liverpool, now Mané gives Firmino a humbling blow
Former France and Arsenal player Thierry Henry, among others, said of Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez: "There's something about him that you can't take your eyes off. Henry, in an analysis of the player formed in Penarol on CBS, said: "I think he needs confidence, and I'm talking about when you're at a club and you feel like you're going to play every weekend and you're colder in front of goal".
"He wants to convince so much and do so much to blow Liverpool fans away that sometimes he rushes," the 1998 World Cup winner reflected, and went further: "He controls the ball and rushes, instead of controlling and finishing cleanly. I've been through that, when you come in as a big signing and you come in for Sadio Mané, it's not easy, you exaggerate your efforts instead of being calm to define".
And then he went on to praise him: "There's something about him that you can't take your eyes off him. He's the kind of player that when he gets a good run of goals, more will come. I don't think he's a Robbie Fowler type of finisher, I see him more like an Alexis Sanchez or a young Luis Suarez. But, when he starts to improve, he's going to control better and I think he's going to be unstoppable," Henry finished.
