At Anfield there is no time for regrets and after the rejection of Enzo Fernandez, the German coach Jürgen Klopp is looking to give a blow to the table with the addition of two great figures to the team, who like the SL Benfica player, also shone big at the last World Cup in Qatar 2022 with their respective national teams such as the Ecuadorian Moises Caicedo and Argentine Mac Allister, both of Brighton & Hove Albion.

For a squad with a Latin American flavour like Liverpool, having these two great players with their quality and good football would fit very well in a squad that has Latinos, such as Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, Alisson Becker, Arthur, and the Iberians Bajcetic, Thiago and Adrian, so the language would not be a barrier for Caicedo and Mac Allister who through their representatives do not see with bad eyes their departure to Brighton.

Moises Caicedo has been one of the great revelations of the Premier League, and subsequently of the World Cup in Qatar. At 21 years of age, the Ecuadorian international is the second highest valued player in the Brighton squad, with a market value of over 40 million, behind only Mac Allister, who is worth around 60 million after winning the World Cup with Argentina.

The Santo Domingo, Ecuador native was a real bargain for the Seagulls, who paid Independiente del Valle 5 million for his services in 2021, making a huge profit after his session with Belgian side Beerschot VA, where he played enough minutes to earn a place in the starting XI of Graham Potter, who is now manager of Chelsea FC. Klopp is contemplating a deal to bring in the Ecuador midfielder in 2023.

Finally, 25-year-old Alexis Mac Allister, formerly of Boca Juniors, slipped into Lionel Scaloni's squad at the last minute, shining in Qatar and thus arousing the interest of The Pool, who know that as there is no clause for the Argentine, they could put on the table the 30 million that Brighton are asking for and thus have as soon as possible one of the important pieces that Argentina had to win the championship after more than three decades.
