He has been one of the revelations of the season in the Bundesliga. Youssoufa Moukoko, one of Borussia Dortmund's most promising youth players, has established himself with the first team despite not yet having reached his majority and there is already talk of interest from the big European clubs in signing him, including Liverpool. The Cameroonian-born striker has emerged as a key player in the German attack.

He has played 15 games in total, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His contract expires on 30 June 2023 and he has half of Europe after him. The last remaining club is Merseyside, who are looking to rejuvenate their squad for the coming seasons as Mohamed Salah is at a mature stage and Roberto Firmino may not renew his contract.  Liverpool seem to be the best placed for now.

However, in England they also recognise the interest of other teams such as Real Madrid and PSG, who are also determined to convince the promising youngster if his contract with Borussia expires and he has not renewed. It would be the reinforcement of a promising young player at zero cost. Once again, Florentino Pérez and Joan Laporta have clashed in the transfer market. The presidents of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have come up against a similar target in Borussia Dortmund, in addition to Bellingham, who is also wanted by Real Madrid.

According to Sport, the Catalan giants have joined the long list of suitors for Youssoufa Moukoko, a striker for the Ruhr outfit. The German-Cameroonian striker's contract with Dortmund expires in June 2023, which has led a number of clubs to try and sign him as a free agent. On 1 January, any team in the world is free to negotiate with Moukoko to sign him without paying a transfer fee for the 23/24 season. In addition to Liverpool and PSG, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are also in the queue of those interested in a player who is not yet 18 years old!

Klopp quiere a Youssoufa Moukoko

Joan Laporta is betting on getting free agent signings for Barcelona in the face of the economic difficulties at Culés. Florentino Pérez is no stranger to a tactic that has led him to sign players such as David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger for Real Madrid. Moukoko has joined Jude Bellingham among the Borussia Dortmund players wanted by Liverpool. Aside from signing the striker as a free agent, the Reds would be willing to pay in the region of €100m for the England midfielder.
