Qatar has its Grand Final. Argentina and France will search in 90' minutes or more for the new champion or two-time champion of world football. Two teams with different styles will be in Lusail, being one of the most evenly matched finals of the last editions. Argentina and Messi, while on the other side France and its constellation of stars, full of youth, where Liverpool FC would have already had their eye on one of them.

If there is one thing that has characterised our head coach Jürgen Klopp, it is his power of persuasion, which he has once again applied to a French superstar, who has already said yes to playing at Anfield next year. The Reds have in recent weeks been keeping a close eye on Randal Kolo Muani, Bundesliga star and Europa League winner with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Liverpool might be enticed to add players through the transfer market

The 24-year-old Kolo, who prior to joining Didier Deschamps' French national team, has eight goals and nine assists in 23 appearances for the Eagles in Germany so far. Munani's multi-functionality has led him to play as a midfielder, right winger, striker and permanent '9', being of great help in the scheme of the Austrian Glasner Oliver, manager of Frankfurt.

The French striker is tied to the German club until the summer of 2027, but for around 30 million euros 'The Eagles' could release him and he could join a new club in his young career. Kolo has so far had three clubs in his professional career; Nantes FC, Bologna and Eintracht Frankfurt, a club he joined this summer after leaving Les Canaris on a free transfer from France's Ligue 1.

Klopp wants Muani

Klopp and the Anfield faithful will be keeping a close eye on Kolo's potential performance on Sunday as his side seek their third World Cup against Lio Messi's Argentina, who are aiming to win their first World Cup with their national team. Munani has more than 100 minutes in Qatar, having played against Tunisia in the group stage and Morocco in the semi-finals recently.
