The fight for the partial leadership of the Premier League between Liverpool and Arsenal was known to be intense in all areas, and while on the field both institutions gave everything to try to get the three points at Anfield, from the bench the war between the coaches was to see who had the best strategy to make his team the winner of this eighteenth round, obtaining after the final whistle the coaches Jürgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta a bittersweet draw to a goal that lengthens rivalry.

The rivalry between both institutions was very noticeable from the moment that Klopp and Arteta had to give each other the protocol greeting before the whistle, both showing for a moment only the work respect they have for each other, each thinking more about the situations that would arise in the match than in a cordiality to have a brief chat, which is how it usually happens with the rest of the coaches during each game.

It is true that the friendship between these two great coaches of the Premier League does not exist since the fight they had at the end of 2021, leading to a personal and group rivalry that was reflected through the matches, with Jürgen Klopp obtaining an advantage of 5 wins over 2 draws and 4 defeats, adding this Saturday a score equal to one goal that still leaves the German tactician of the Reds in advantage.

Hardly a coach who is Klopp's rival can be seen with an advantage far superior to that of the German tactician, as demonstrated weeks ago when he faced Pep Guardiola and now again with Mikel Arteta, with this great clash having a new edition in the league until February, although before that, both will be measured for the third round of the FA Cup.

Klopp is still the best manager in English competition

Although Mikel Arteta is showing a minimal superiority over Klopp by having his team with one point more than his, in general terms is Jürgen a better strategist than the Gunners, being for many the best strategic rivalry that exists between Pep and Klopp, making it clear that in England the best from the bench is the Reds coach, reaffirming this man's status as a star.
