Liverpool's German coach to take advantage of World Cup break

The German manager hopes to spend a few weeks on Mexican soil after completing his contract with the Reds. In an interview with Sky Sports, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has made it clear that he will not be renewing his contract with the Reds and revealed that he intends to enjoy a long holiday in Mexico when his contract expires.

True to form, Klopp, who has a deal with the Anfield outfit until 2024, joked that he still does not know what he will do when his time at Liverpool comes to an end. "I'm going to take a sabbatical.... I'm going to travel. I want to go to Mexico for a few weeks. And I will certainly spend time in Germany," he said. If during this World Cup break he decided to travel to the beaches of Cancun in Mexico and stay in the best hotels, he could spend up to ten thousand euros for five days, according to reports from government agencies in Mexico.

"After that, maybe I'll take over a club or a national team.... Or maybe I won't do anything. I will definitely do what I want to do. In five years, the world may have become a very different place," he added. Klopp also claimed he will not continue to work as a manager until he is older, like Roy Hodgson of Crystal Palace (Liverpool's next opponents), who is 73.

"It's not an option for me. Hopefully I'll be alive and well when I'm 73. It would be an achievement. But no, I won't be working as a manager any more," he said. I'm still young, I still have the desire to be a coach. I may look back on this conversation in a few years and think, 'How I said stupid things.' But in my plans, I won't be a coach when I'm old," he said. Liverpool is only the third team in the career of Klopp, who also coached Borussia Dortmund and Mainz.

Klopp will rest, but will be preparing for work

Although the Reds boss will take a few days off, Liverpool will travel to Dubai in December with players not at the World Cup for almost two weeks of warm-weather training. In addition, Jürgen Klopp's side will face two friendly matches during those 12 days at the Emirates.
