Liverpool manager criticised after heavy defeat to Nottingham Forest

Throughout the season a thousand and one criticisms have been made about Jürgen Klopp's decisions regarding the eleven players he sends to the pitch in each game, because even when injuries limit the German's creativity and he has to resort to certain elements to cover those possible weaknesses against their rivals, these comments persist and more when it comes to sit on the bench elements with qualities to start each game.

The Reds' ups and downs seem to matter little to former Manchester United midfield expert Paul Jones, as the Englishman expressed doubt as to why Jürgen Klopp leaves Jordan Henderson on the substitutes' bench for too long and does not rely on him as a regular starter, even though the 32-year-old has long been the leader of the side. "You have Jordan Henderson on the bench, he should be playing. He's the leader of the team.

To put into context just how important Jordan Henderson turns out to be at Liverpool, the former footballer took Casemiro and Manchester United as a reference, with the Brazilian being a key part of the Reds Devils' smooth running in every game, as both the Anfield and Old Trafford midfielder with that engine on the pitch. "He's the captain and the one and only, Casemiro type of role, and he gets everyone moving."

Without really knowing why the Reds boss doesn't start Henderson, Scholes can only think that a possible injury or anger between them might cause the Briton's absences from the start of games, only stating that something is not quite right about the situation. He seems to have fallen out with him or to be injured. There's something not quite right there.

Henderson is Liverpool's Casemiro'

In Liverpool's last five games, four of which have been in the Premier League and one in the Champions League, the 32-year-old midfielder has started three of them (Arsenal, Rangers and West Ham United), starting the other two from the substitutes' bench (Manchester United and Nottingham Forest). This Wednesday Klopp and his men will make the trip to Amsterdam to play Ajax, and it remains a complete unknown whether Jordan will get minutes from the opening whistle or will have to wait once the game enters its final stretch.
