While the eyes of the world are on the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, news and moves in the transfer market are the order of the day, with Liverpool FC being one of the busiest clubs in recent days, as it has been revealed that Jürgen Klopp's side are set to let go of two stars to make room for new arrivals at Anfield next year to strengthen one of the biggest clubs in the world.
According to information from world insider Fabrizio Romano, the Merseyside outfit would accept that England's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal and Guinea's Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig would leave Liverpool at the end of the season, as both are out of contract in the summer of 2023, and there is no intention on Klopp's part to renew them, making it easier for the two international midfielders to find a new team.

It is well known that since the unfortunate injuries to these two players, their contract situation was going to be complicated, so Romano revealed what the intentions at Anfield would be. "They want to sign midfielders, it could be more than one because from I'm told Oxlade-Chamberlain will leave as a free agent at the end of the season. There are very good chances also for Naby Keita to leave as free agent from what I'm told it's a serious possibility," he tweeted to more than 12.7 million followers.
Oxlade-Chamberlain came through the ranks at Southampton where he surprised the world with his pace and trickery in front of goal in 2010, prompting the Gunners' French coach Arsene Wegner to sign him for £15m the following season. His time in London came to an end in the summer of 2017 when Klopp enticed him to join Liverpool for £35m, a fee the Pool had put on the table.
On the other hand Naby Keita started in the French promotion with Istres FC in 2013, then moved through the Red Bull family, first at Salzburg (2014) and then Leipzig (2016), where thanks to 60 million euros. With the departure of these players, the Red's would go all-in on the winter transfer window for England's Jude Benllingham and Declan Rice, who are currently representing the England national team at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
