Tommy Pilling signs first professional contract at LFC

Tommy Pilling has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool Football Club. The 17-year-old from St Helens has been at the Academy since the age of five. A talented midfielder, he operates well in tight spaces and can open games up with his passing ability. He was a regular figure in Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18 squad last season and is set to take on an even more prominent role in the campaign ahead.

According to Liverpool's official website, Tommy Pilling is a lively, versatile player who made his U18s debut as an U16 player in 2020-21. Pillings first came to the Academy at the age of five and is from St Helens.

He played for the U18s in 2021-22 mainly as an attacking midfielder. Now, Pilling then signed his first professional contract with the Reds ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
