Negotiations set for Mbappé to join Liverpool, but Salah to leave

After the French striker's unsuccessful move to Real Madrid and the barrage of memes from football fans for the youngster preferring to stay at PSG, his name is once again being linked with a new transfer. Much has been said about the alleged bad atmosphere in the PSG dressing room between some of their stars. In fact, the rumours started when Mbappé fought with Neymar for kicking a penalty, a situation that according to some versions would have come to blows between the two, in the locker room.

For his part, Salah has had months of inconsistent performances with Liverpool and that could give rise to a possible trade between the teams in which the two players play. Although the 'Gallic' striker renewed with the French club just a few months ago, when he had to decide between two almost similar offers from Real Madrid and PSG, he would have changed his mind again in the last few days. French media have echoed the desire of the world champion to seek other horizons, after the player felt that the promises with which his continuity at PSG was sealed, such as the departure of Neymar, who finally ended up renewing, have not been fulfilled, according to a local media.

The English media has claimed that there is a possibility that Mohamed Salah could go to the Parisian team in exchange for around 80 million euros and thus reduce the cost of the transaction that would bring Kylian Mbappé to Liverpool. While there is no estimated figure, Liverpool are keen on the move, but it would all depend on the financial demands of the French youngster's champion. The 30-year-old Egyptian player renewed his contract with the English club last July until 2025, which could also make a transfer difficult.

Florentino Perez is always a threat in almost any aspect of a club's sporting management, especially at the levels at which Real Madrid operate. An Egyptian journalist, a reliable source close to the Reds' right winger, has provided more details about this incendiary move that would turn the market upside down: "PSG's idea is to sell Mbappé to Liverpool and receive Mo Salah in return. PSG have had a long-standing interest in Salah, and he is the priority to replace Mbappé should he leave".

PSG want Salah in talks for Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé's rush to leave PSG would put him even further away from joining Real Madrid, an option that he himself dynamited last summer by rejecting Florentino Pérez's offer and the possibility of consolidating himself as one of the leaders of a sporting project that aspires to win everything this year. Only time will tell if the Mbappé-Salah swap comes to fruition. This information has gone down very badly with Kylian Mbappé's immediate entourage, one of the most toxic circles in world football today and one that is destroying the career of a brilliant footballer who could have aspired to win it all at the biggest club in the world. "We were wrong, and I was the first": greed breaks the sack and it may already be too late to turn back the clock.
