According to Italian newspaper Calcio Mercato, AC Milan are working on planning their squad with the intention of getting into the fight for the Serie A title and transcending into the UEFA Champions League after the Qatar 2022 World Cup. And they have a clear target for the midfield: Naby Keita.

The 27-year-old Guinean midfielder's contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2023 and all indications are that he will leave Anfield Road because he does not fit into Jürgen Klopp's plans (he has only played one game so far this season).
