On the 5th of August an exhibition match was held at Stamford Bridge to benefit Ukraine due to the war that is ravaging this country, where all the funds raised by this match would be donated to the construction of schools in Ukraine and thus help the reconstruction of this country that is going through one of the worst circumstances for which no country should go through, to which many retired football stars were present.

The exhibition match had two teams with Ukrainian captains Oleksandr Zinchenko and Andriy Shevchenko and were accompanied by players like Robert Pires, Gerard Piqué, Jermain Defoe, Samuel Eto'o, Serginho, Antonio Valencia, David James, Charlie Adam, Martin Skrtel and John Arne Riise among other great former stars of world football where you could enjoy a great game and what better than with a great idea to help the people of Ukraine.

In this match we could see a John Arne Riise very different to what we were used to at Anfield, however age is a factor that although it does not make him look bad he looks different as in that Liverpool of the early 2000's he was a slim young man with a great punch, now we see him with a different look, almost unrecognizable with a round face and a few extra kilos, certainly a great change for the legend of the Reds and without a doubt a great change for the Reds and without a doubt a great change for the Reds.

Riise a legend who contributes to the fifth

Nobody will ever forget that great 2005 final in what is regarded as the best final in the history of the Champions League with plenty of excitement until the very end of the match and where Riise put in the cross for Liverpool to come from behind and crown the Reds with their fifth Champions League crown. And who could forget that Liverpool of the early 2000s, when the Reds had excellent free-kick takers in Steven Gerrard and John Arne Riise who had an excellent strike from long and medium range.
