Bayern Munich beat Liverpool 4-3 on Wednesday in another pre-season test in Singapore. The English club went ahead in the second minute through Gakpo and extended their lead in the 28th minute through Van Dijk. The Bavarians responded and, just before the break, equalised thanks to goals from Gnabry (33') and Sané (42').

In the 2nd half, ex-FC Porto player Luis Díaz restored the Reds' lead (66'), but in the final minutes they conceded two more goals, scored by Stanisic (80') and Kratzig (90'+1). The match was very divided, the Reds started winning, but a lack of attacking punch and the changes made by Jurgen Klopp, who gave space to the youngsters, caused Liverpool to concede space and lose to the Germans.

While this was happening in Asia, reports emerged in England that Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is close to signing a contract with Turkish club Besiktas, according to Sky reports. The midfielder was part of Liverpool's golden era of winning the Champions League and Premier League, but did not renew his contract and left the club.

The future of OX

At 29 years of age and after suffering several injuries last season, the midfielder is trying to revive his career and although he has been linked with different teams, even in Saudi Arabia, his future seems to be in Turkey with one of the most important teams in that country that is now playing Conference League.
