On the Talk Sports Podcast, former professional player and Sky Sports presenter Jamie O'Hara recently declared that Liverpool FC legend Steven Gerrard is the best Premier League midfielder he has ever seen, his technique, poise and intelligence ranking him above Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard.

"I've played against Scholes at MUFC and Lampard at Chelsea, but Gerrard was on another planet," began Jamie O'Hara's praise, which sparked the networks after the tremendous statement given, where obviously Manchester United and Chelsea fans came out to defend their legends, minimizing what he captain of the Red's contributed not only to the club, but to English football itself.

Jamie O'Hara defended his position on the podcast and remarked that Steve is the best thing that has happened in the Premiership, not only for his numbers but that in every season that Liverpool FC won a title, Gerrard was instrumental in doing so, "Gerrard is the best midfielder the Premier League has ever seen, there is and will never be anyone like him, that's why he is a legend," he said.

Steven Gerrard, who is currently manager of Aston Villa, came through the youth ranks at Liverpool FC in the 1996-1997 season where he played in the youth team, before moving to the first team for the 1998-1999 season and writing magical history where he won eleven titles and was recognised in 2009 as the Big Island Footballer of the Year.

After his time with Liverpool FC, Steven Gerrard closed his professional career in the Major Soccer League (MLS) in the United States, where he retired in 2017, to begin his career as a Technical Director.  That same year, the Red's opened the door for him to manage youth teams, until he signed with Rangers in 2018 and won the Scottish Premier League, which earned him the chance to return to England.
