Our Liverpool's last season fell far short of what the team has shown in recent years, and although it is fair to say that many of the players who were part of the last golden era of the club are no longer in the squad, it is also true that the greatness of our team forces it to always fight to win titles, something that did not happen the previous campaign.

Remembering that last great era we lived with Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool, comes to mind that magical Champions League of the 2018-2019 season, in which after many years of not doing so, we managed to lift the trophy of the most important tournament at club level in Europe. That feat would not have been possible without the players who took us to the top of European football, although many of them are no longer in the team.

In particular, the game that most fans remember from that edition of the Champions League is the semi-final against FC Barcelona, in which Liverpool came from 3-0 down and ended up winning 4-0 to advance to the final. In that match there was one player who undoubtedly stood out above the rest and that was the Belgian striker, Divock Origi.

From that moment on Origi became a great figure of Liverpool and earned the affection and respect of Anfield, as his two goals, especially the last one, were the key for the team to reach the final that we would later win against Tottenham, where Origi was also a key factor.

Where is Divock Origi today?

Divock Origi will always be remembered at Anfield, of that there is no doubt. However, after his departure from the team his level has been declining. He is currently under contract with AC Milan, although he is not a player who gets a lot of minutes. His market value has also fallen, as he was valued at 20 million euros and today he is only worth 6 million.
