In recent years our Liverpool signed one of the most glorious eras in the history of the club, because under the hand of Jürgen Klopp, we managed to lift every possible trophy at least once and one of the most remembered triumphs by the fans at Anfield is the 2019 Champions League, particularly for that semi-final in which we eliminated Lionel Messi's FC Barcelona.

In that extraordinary match of our Liverpool, which for many is the best display that the team has given under the command of Jürgen Klopp, practically all the Reds players shone, but there were certainly those who stood out above the rest and one of them, perhaps the hero of the match and of the tie was the Belgian striker Divock Origi.

Origi had his best years at Anfield and undoubtedly that edition of the Champions League he was a real killer in the penalty area. In that match in which our Liverpool managed to come back from a 0-3 deficit, Origi scored two goals, including one that was a total display of concentration that ended up sinking the Barcelona players, particularly Lionel Messi who was reported to have even cried in the dressing room after the defeat against the Reds.

A year ago, Divock Origi ended his time at Liverpool having become a true legend of the club after that sensational edition of the Champions League in 2019. He joined the giant of Italy, AC Milan, a team where he has not been able to find his best level and where he is no longer wanted and they are even looking for a new team after leaving him out of the club's preseason.

Where will Divock Origi play next season?

According to several media, AC Milan is already looking for a new team for Divock Origi and apparently there are no offers from any European club for him. That is why the Italian club would be looking for a place for him in the Saudi Pro League and according to the portal Soy Calcio, they are in contact with 3 or 4 Saudi Arabian teams to sell Origi, who seems to be leaving Italy this summer.
