This year's summer transfer window promises to be one of the busiest for Liverpool, who have already secured their first signing for next season. The Argentine Alexis Mac Allister, who arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion. However, the team could suffer important departures this summer.
Since the end of the 2022-2023 season, Jürgen Klopp and his coaching staff have prioritized the arrival of young players, as one of the intentions of the board is to rejuvenate the squad. That is why great players who gave us glory in recent years had to leave Anfield to make way for new reinforcements, such is the case of Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The departure of all these players hurt a lot inside the dressing room, but the rest of the players understood that the generational change is necessary. However, there are young players who have a great future and whom Klopp wants to shape the medium and long term project of the club, but everything seems to indicate that it will be impossible to keep them all, especially when there are several teams interested in signing Liverpool's young promises.
Such is the case of Fabio Carvalho, one of Liverpool's most promising young talents, who at 20 years of age has attracted the interest of several teams who want to take advantage of his lack of playing time at Anfield. In fact, Bundesliga side Leipzig, who will play in the Champions League next season, have already made an offer to buy Carvalho, which has been rejected by the Reds' board.
Although Leipzig have made an offer to take Fabio Carvalho, Liverpool are not willing to get rid of him on a permanent basis. That is why West Ham's latest offer would be much more attractive to Jürgen Klopp as the Premier League side submitted a loan bid for the Portuguese youngster.
