With poor results, many superstars led by Salah could be on their way out of Anfield in the summer

The worst season in the Jürgen Klopp era is claiming its first victims, and if the team does not finish in the European places at the end of the season, it could open the door for many superstars to leave the club, Mohamed Salah being one of them. The club's owners will have to cushion the financial blow that the Red's would lose by not playing in Europe.

During the winter transfer window, there was a rumour in the French media that Paris Saint-Germain could snap up the services of Pharaoh Salah, bolstering their already fearsome front line with Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and World Cup winner Lionel Messi, with the latter being the possible next departure from the club. The Parisians would therefore cover their backside by signing the Egypt national team leader.

He was a champion, captain of Liverpool, now he has a sad ending

Salah could be joined by veteran James Milner, whose contract with The Pool expires this summer, and so far there are no talks with Klopp or the board about his renewal, but this situation is not alien, as prior to the start of the season the Englishman was in the same situation and in the end, he was able to extend his stay at Anfield for a year, so let's not rule out that this could happen again, knowing that there will not be much money involved.

Milner, 37, is in his eighth season with Liverpool after arriving as a free agent from Manchester City, who sacked him because of his age and an overcapacity of players in his position, which prompted Milner to look for new alternatives and after a long talk with Jürgen Klopp he joined the Red's where he has been key in the club's latest golden era that has brought them major titles such as the Premier League.

Milner would not renew

For now Salah and Milner will remain at Anfield, preparing for the second half of the season, where they still have hopes of reaching the UEFA Champions League, the only tournament Liverpool could still win, after being eliminated in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and saying goodbye to the Premier League title for a long time.
