Griezmann to Liverpool? This deal could make it possible

Precisely the Argentine coach, faced with the departure of Luis Suarez, decided to count on Alvaro Morata, as well as having in the air the purchase of Antoine Griezmann after finishing his loan period, having therefore to look for new alternatives for his attack with a view to the summer of 2023, having thought for it in Liverpool's Brazilian striker, Roberto Firmino, who apparently would seek to leave Liverpool after failing to reach an agreement to renew his contract with the Anfield team.

According to the latest reports, Roberto Firmino does not want to continue at Liverpool beyond next summer, and therefore has the opportunity from 1 January to negotiate his arrival at zero cost in 2023 to any club interested in acquiring his services, which is where Atlético de Madrid would come into play, who along with Juventus are currently one of the favourites to acquire the services of the 31-year-old Brazilian for next season. Therefore, for this negotiation, Jürgen Klopp could try to ask for Antoine Griezmann as a change, although for now there is no information about it. 

The Anfield outfit are keeping a close eye on any solutions that could be found to solve their problems. That is why The Sun's report now focuses on the specific situation of Roberto Firmino, who, as we know, will finish his contract at the end of the season. The Brazilian was recently linked with FC Barcelona in a surprising swap deal with Memphis Depay.

The tabloid now explains that the 30-year-old Brazilian attacker, who has scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 8 games this season, will be offered for sale in the winter transfer window. The Merseyside outfit know that this is the last chance to cash in on him. He has been gradually losing his place in Jürgen Klopp's plans. That is why he is likely to be on the market in January, although there is still a long way to go before then. The striker would thus have the possibility to look for a way out after the World Cup (his role with Brazil could determine his future). And this would surely force the English squad to look for a successor when the market reopens at the beginning of 2023.
