In recent hours Liverpool have been linked with Federico Valverde who in previous days was in Argentina accompanying the Uruguayan U'20 team in the semi-finals of the World Cup, posted a message on his Instagram account in various parts of the Uruguayan capital with his wife and son, while at the same time he received at home the traditional music singer Matias Valdez. "Mate, asado, guitar, bizcochos and family in my country," the Real Madrid star wrote.

For his part, Luis Suárez, who was present last Monday during the celebrations of the U-20 world champions, also returned to his home in one of the seaside resorts in the department of Canelones (south) to spend a few days with his family. "Asadito at home," the Uruguayan national team's top scorer posted on his Instagram account in an image showing the typical wood-burning fire. The two Uruguayan national team stars will not be present during the friendly matches against Nicaragua and Cuba, although it will not be surprising if one of them makes an appearance at the Centenario Stadium to support his team-mates.

What is causing a worldwide impact is that Jude Bellingham, a player who refused to sign for Liverpool and decided to go to Real Madrid, could help the Reds as his arrival at the Spanish team will undoubtedly become fierce competition for the Uruguayan who, although he is a project for the future, plays in the same position as the former Borussia Dortmund player.

The decision

According to several reports, Liverpool have tried to contact Valverde's agent in order to convince him to come to Anfield, although the player wants to stay at Real Madrid. But with the arrival of Bellingham and even the change of manager, the situation will change for Valverde and Liverpool will be his best option.
