Real Madrid are getting closer every day to signing Jude Bellingham and all thanks to Liverpool. The English side have already made official the arrival of Dutch striker Cody Gakpo in exchange for 60 million euros (42 million euros fixed plus 18 million euros in variables) for this winter transfer window. The former PSV player arrives to replace Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota. A necessary signing for Jürgen Klopp, but one that could make things easier for Florentino Pérez to bring the Borussia Dortmund midfielder to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Whoever wants Jude Bellingham will have to pay more than 100 million euros, specifically a minimum of 110 million euros, that's how clear and categorical Borussia Dortmund have been. A very high figure, but within Liverpool's reach, as was seen last summer when they spent 100 million euros on Darwin Núñez.

Klopp's secret if Bellingham's arrival at Liverpool does not happen
But the problem is that the English side have already spent 60 million on Cody Gakpo and Florentino Perez has not spent anything yet, so, in the event of a bid for the midfielder, Real Madrid currently have more money in their coffers. Ancelotti has given his approval to the deal and, as was evident yesterday at the Nuevo José Zorrilla, Real Madrid need Jude Bellingham. Until Eduardo Camavinga came on the pitch, Real Madrid completely lost the battle in midfield.
Kroos, Ceballos and Valverde were outplayed at all times by Aguado and Roque Mesa and Real Valladolid even put Los Blancos in serious trouble, but as soon as fresh legs came on the pitch, the game changed and Ancelotti's side went on to win.
Real Madrid need new, young players in midfield, in other words, they need Jude Bellingham. Florentino Pérez knows this and is already working on it. Liverpool also need reinforcements in midfield, and they will certainly end up bringing new people to Anfield, but, perhaps, after the great investment of 60 million euros for Gakpo in winter, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has moved closer to Santiago Berbéu and Klopp's team will have to aim in another direction. We shall see.
