Just when it was thought that the absences of Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker might have affected the team's performance for the Europa League clash with LASK Linz, the 4-0 home win reversed that completely, and there is now complete calm and confidence at Merseyside ahead of the clash against a Fulham side that will be severely hampered by the absence of all those players who will be out of action due to fitness problems.

While Jürgen Klopp had the game against LASK to experiment with the necessary changes to be made until Jota and Becker return, Fulham must go to Anfield with the question mark over how the team will perform with Adama Traore, Issa Diop, Rodrigo Muniz and Tyrese Francois out.

With the Reds having such an advantage over their opponents, the superiority is likely to be felt on the pitch on Sunday, with Klopp and his squad having a great chance to take three points to make it 11 straight home wins and the chance to go top of the table if Manchester City and Arsenal lose their respective games.
Faced with a host of absentees in the team, Fulham do not have many arguments to be able to surprise the Reds during the 90 minutes, with only the Brazilian striker Willian who can pose a real danger to the Reds' defensive sector, with Jürgen Klopp having to take advantage of the situation to get another big win that will keep him in the top of the overall standings but now with a greater goal difference in their favour.

Liverpool can't afford to slip up in this game

As is well known, the month of December is one of the most complicated for practically the entire Premier League due to the large number of matches in such a short period of time, but this year, Liverpool have had luck on their side by facing in the coming weeks opponents who do not represent a huge danger to Klopp and his boys, taking advantage of this fact to get as many points as possible to become the new overall leader, being a great first step to get a win against an injury-hit Fulham.
