Anfield clear-out could influence the Portuguese attacker's arrival

With Liverpool noticing that Cristiano Ronaldo has begun to be dropped by Manchester United, the Merseyside outfit have begun to orchestrate a series of possibilities to bring the Portuguese star to Anfield and make him their new striker for 2023, with his possible arrival convenient as the institution is about to make a clean sweep of the squad to open up space for reinforcements.

Although the cost of Ronaldo and his salary is not a problem for the Reds, the man who orchestrates the strategies of the game has to know how to play his cards and decide who should stay and who should leave the institution in order to obtain the signing of the Portuguese. At the top of the list are the names of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner, midfield elements who are no longer of great use to Klopp but who, because of their youth, could become useful in some way, of course, in the case of the "Magician", what would be gained would be his vast experience.

Taking out of the way the three midfield players who could leave for the winter market, the most attractive option for Manchester United could be Roberto Firmino, Brazilian player who despite being left out of the final list for the World Cup in Qatar, has been a formidable attacker who continues to deliver exceptional results with the Reds, having nowadays better statistics than Cristiano Ronaldo, using the goals scored only to surpass him by far.

The strongest card that Klopp and his team could present to Manchester United could prove to be attractive, especially when the team needs an attacking back-up who can compete at the highest level and be fully focused on the institution's commitments, as staying in European competition and advancing in the UEFA Europa League is paramount.

Firmino could be one of the exchange players

Although it is still a very risky bet by Liverpool to want Ronaldo to Costa del Firmino, perhaps the results with the "Bicho" will improve once he leaves Old Trafford, because from the point of view of many specialists, what the Portuguese needs is an institution that supports him and a coach who gives him that vote of confidence to start in the starting line-up and make a difference as he did not long ago at United or Juventus.
