It seems that positive news is becoming more and more frequent at Anfield, as during the two-week break due to rescheduled fixtures and FIFA dates, manager Jürgen Klopp had the opportunity to fine-tune his return to action at the start of the month against Brighton, with the German starting from the news that at least two more players will return from injury in the final weeks of October.
With the successful return of Spaniard Thiago Alcántara for that second UEFA Champions League fixture against Ajax, the Reds boss is now looking forward to the return of two more of the midfield players who were severely punished at the start of the campaign, with rumours suggesting that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita could soon return to action, although they will have to wait at least another couple of weeks for that to happen.

The Reds will have to be patient and know how to cope with the tight and complicated schedule they will have throughout the month, with the midfielders likely to return for their game against Leeds on 29 October, while in the Champions League, they will have to wait until next year if the Reds manage to qualify for the next round.
Although Klopp's midfield will be nurtured by his return to the squad, the reality is that the lack of activity may be a factor against him and delay his return for a while, not to mention the physical work that both Alcantara and Arthur Melo are doing to be viable options in both the Premiership and Champions League, with both gaining ground on Chamberlain and Keita.
For the 2021-2022 season, the German coach showed his great confidence in these players as they were repeatedly involved in the game, because while the British Chamberlain accumulated in all competitions a total of 29 games scoring on three occasions, the Guinean Keita stepped on the pitch 40 times, contributing during that period with four goals and three assists.
