It is no secret that Jürgen Klopp is one of the best - for many the best - manager Liverpool has ever had in its history of success and greatness. The German tactician has returned us to the elite of European football and has led us to conquer every possible trophy, at least once, since his arrival in 2015.
With Klopp as manager of our Liverpool, the club returned to winning the Premier League after a 30-year drought. We won the Champions League, the Club World Cup and every domestic cup. In addition, Klopp has given us great players that he has discovered and promoted to their highest level, players who became great figures and gave us many joys such as Salah, Firmino, Mané, van Dijk and many others.
However, nothing lasts forever and the Liverpool board has to be prepared for the day when Jürgen Klopp is no longer the manager of our club. Although it still seems a long time away for that to happen, as the German tactician has a contract with us until 2026, some names of possible candidates to take his place in the future have already begun to sound and Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler already has his favorite, as he is a coach who has managed to succeed at European level.
Robbie Fowler, 48, told the Sunday Mirror that he would be happy if Unai Emery became Liverpool's next manager when Jürgen Klopp leaves. Emery has won the Europa League four times and has managed top teams in Europe. "I've always liked Unai Emery, who took over at Villa Park in October. I have thought for some time, he is a top, top manager so much so when, at one stage last season, there was some talk of Jurgen Klopp possibly leaving Liverpool, I'm thinking to myself I wouldn't mind Emery as the next Liverpool boss." he said.
