The best teams in Europe have shown interest in Moukoko, whose contract at Dortmund expires in the summer and who is now playing for Germany at the World Cup in Qatar. One of the teams said to be keeping an eye on the issue in anticipation of maybe landing one of the top young talents in the world for free is the Reds.

The 18-year-old has only made 14 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund this season, six of which have come off the bench, but when given the opportunity, the young player has had a huge impact, scoring six goals and dishing out four assists in just 14 games. The adolescent has made it obvious that he wants to continue with his present club, but he has also intimated that the leaders of the organization need to be more transparent.

“I adore the club and am so at ease here at BVB. Keeping Borussia Dortmund would be my dream, Moukoko told RND. It's crucial that I comprehend the projects and perspectives the club will provide for me.” Despite Moukoko's words, it is thought that Dortmund will have to fight to retain their young star if they are unable to guarantee him playing time and a position in the team.

Numerous clubs now feel the adolescent is prepared to depart, according to a 90min article from earlier this week the fact that the Cameroon-born stars' current contract has about six months left to run shows that there have been snags in the process of negotiations for a new deal, which are believed to have been ongoing for the better part of a year.

According to the sources, Liverpool is one of numerous teams keeping a close eye on the young talent, though it's believed that Barcelona would be his favorite choice given that Moukoko grew up supporting the Spanish powerhouses, if Barcelona would approach him there would slightly no chance of the Red's seeing him.
