The National Football League (NFL) returns to British soil this weekend with a tremendous clash, with the Week 8 match-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos drawing the world's attention from Wembley Stadium, causing euphoria among American sports fans, and also indirectly gaining new soccer fans.
Such is the case of Broncos QB Russell Wilson, who in a video posted on the NFL UK's official social networks, shows off with his wife Ciara and their young son, a pair of Red's jerseys, along with a pair of red and white Liverpool boots that he will wear in the game against the Jaguars. Wilson was grateful for the gesture and became a new fan of the Merseyside outfit.

During the video, Wilson went on to wish the Red's the best of success, where he took the opportunity to send them a message, saying that the club already lives in the heart of the world superstar. It is worth noting that the jersey he showed off will be worn either before or after the London game, marking yet another hicnha's adherence to German coach Jürgen Klopp's side.
Prior to his NFL debut, Wilson attended the University of Wisconsin before being selected in the 3rd round of the 2012 draft (75th overall) and signing with the Seattle Seahawks for four seasons and $2.99 million. The QB was a legend with the team, winning Western Conference and National Football Conference (NFC) titles, as well as reaching two Super Bowl (XLVIII and XLIX), the first with a win and the other with a runner-up finish.
As of this season, the 33-year-old quarterback has joined Denver on a five-year, $245 million deal. On the other hand, this will be the third game outside the United States for the NFL, after the games on 13 November at the Allianz Arena in Munich (Buccanners-Seahawks) and on 21 November at the Azteca stadium in Mexico City (49ers-Cardinals).
