In the upcoming summer transfer window, Jude Bellingham will need to make a significant choice as Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid get ready to compete for his services. Bellingham's tight friendship with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson has led to rumours that he would want to transfer to Anfield.
Bellingham's family reportedly prefers that he join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team, with the Liverpool manager publicly complimenting Bellingham in the media. Reece James, a standout for Chelsea, is close to the 19-year-old, but Bellingham's prospects of being signed would be substantially diminished if the Blues' performance this season prevents them from competing in the Champions League.
The City forwards Erling Haaland is still in constant communication with the England player, and Bellingham might choose his next club in a manner akin to the Norwegian striker. Due to the fact that Dortmund's top midfielder's contract isn't due to end until 2025, they may demand a price of more than £100 million for him. However, if a stunning rumored secret release clause is true,
Bellingham could transfer for under £60 million, which would be bad news for Chelsea in their pursuit of the midfielder. Dortmund wants at least £100 million and probably even more for the England star, but the Daily Mail claims Bellingham's contract with Dortmund includes a startling £ 60 million release clause as a result, many more clubs interested in the 19-year-old Three Lions World Cup star would be
Able to afford him, and Chelsea would miss out. Even if the Blues exercise that ostensible release option, it might not be enough to persuade the youngster to move to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea and Manchester United have pondered making a move for PSV striker Cody Gakpo, who Liverpool are close to signing for £37 million. A trade for Bellingham would have been far more expensive as a result, but it now appears that he might be available for half of what Dortmund are asking.
