Carvalho or Elliott - who will be the Golden Boy 2022 according to Tuttosport

Fabio Carvalho and Harvey Elliott are still in the running for the 2022 Golden Boy Award following the publication of the latest shortlist.

There are now 60 contenders remaining for the prestigious annual award, from an original shortlist of 100, which recognises the achievements of players under the age of 21 at European football's top flight clubs.

The nominees are whittled down by 20 each month until the winner is announced at a ceremony in Turin later this year.

Following the announcement of the list of 60 candidates, reported by Tuttosport, the organisation behind the award, Liverpool's Carvalho and Elliott remain on the shortlist of possible winners.  Fans can have their say on who should be crowned Golden Boy on the Tuttosport website.
