It's not all bad news at Liverpool in the wake of a string of poor results and many doubts about the performance of German coach Jurgen Klopp's side. The light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to show and there is already a date for the return of captain Jordan Henderson, who was injured in the dramatic 2-1 win over Newcastle at Anfield on 31 August.

The 14th shirt asked for his substitution in the 71st minute of the rispido encounter due to a muscle problem and was replaced by fellow veteran James Milner. Afterwards at the press conference, Jürgen Klopp confirmed that the 32-year-old midfielder's problem was a hamstring problem and it was not known how long he would be out of action, adding to the team's long list of injured players.

This signing was Jürgen Klopp's worst mistake

This surprising injury forced Club to go in search of a last-minute reinforcement before the deadline deadline so after the match against Newcastle immediately phoned the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo who convinced to come to Anfield from Juventus in a session that will last until June 2023. The move was made with a view to filling the shortages in the middle of the park.

A scan confirmed that Hendo would be out for around three weeks, ruling him out of the first two Champions League group games, the first a 4-1 defeat to Napoli at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona and the other against Ajax at Anfield, as well as at least three Premier League fixtures.

‘Hendo’ to return against Brighton

However, Liverpool's medical staff have announced that his possible return could come after the international break so he could be back on the pitch on October 1 when Liverpool take on Brighton. This will be great news for the team, the fans and especially for manager Jurgen Klopp, who will be able to count on one of the stars of his squad, hoping to shake off the bad moment that has them far behind leaders Arsenal.
