There was bad news for Liverpool and especially for German manager Jurgen Klopp on Wednesday as it was confirmed ahead of Sunday's clash with Aston Villa at Anfield that defender Conor Bradley suffered a fractured back and will be out for a lengthy period.
The 20-year-old Northern Ireland defender was seen by the German manager as a key player for this season as it would allow him to remove Trent Alexander Arnold at right-back and place him in midfield so now he will have no other option in that position and TAA will have to stay in defence.
There were different sources who confirmed this information indicating that this injury was derived due to an excess of stress on the part of the footballer who until last season played in the league one with Bolton Wanderers and now he had a great opportunity in his career to be in the first team of the reds and have several minutes as a starter.
With Bradley's absence now all the responsibility will fall on Joe Gomez to be that replacement both as a central defender and right-back and it is even expected that the former national team player will start this Sunday's game against the villains at Anfield due to the suspension of Virgil van Dijk and the injury to Ibrahima Konate.
