Bad news for Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool have arrived as it seems that Dominik Szoboszlai suffered a minor injury that will keep him away from any activity with Liverpool for at least a few days, according to journalist Dave Ockop, the Hungarian midfielder was injured in a training session and will miss next Monday's pre-season game.
Although the exact time he will be out of action has not been announced, it is not expected to be a serious injury so Dominik Szoboszlai should be available and without any problems for Liverpool's Premier League debut on August 13 when we face Chelsea.
Szoboszlai's injury has many Livrrpool fans worried, as the former RB Leipzig player only joined the club this summer as part of Jürgen Klopp's ongoing rebuilding of the squad. The board spent €70 million on signing Szoboszlai, so it is understandable that Klopp would not want to risk him in a pre-season game, plus Dominik has missed just one game in the last two years due to injury, so there is no concern about injuries being a constant for him, but for now he will have to watch another player try to steal his place during his absence.
While it has been confirmed that Dominik Szoboszlai would miss the next preseason game, Jürgen Klopp could use that opportunity to see Stefan Bajcetic, the promising young Spanish midfielder who has already returned to club training after injury, in action.
