Arrived as a star at Liverpool alongside Suarez, now he cannot find a team

The best moments of Andy Carroll’s career seem to be over. He was able to shine in the Premier League, which led him to a big team like Liverpool where he arrived alongside Luis Suarez. In fact, the 'Reds' paid more for him than for the Uruguayan striker, but in the end it was ‘El Pistolero' who broke out at Anfield and became a legend.

Andy Carroll had a brilliant moment ten years ago, which led him to joining the 'Reds', who paid 41 million euros to Newcastle for his signing (for Suarez they had paid 26.5 million euros to Ajax). Then West Ham took him from Anfield for only 17.5 million euros and, from then on, his career went downhill, as he was never the same again. Injuries plagued him, spoiling the few opportunities he was given.

Time went by and Carroll returned to the 'Magpies' with neither pain nor glory and went backwards in his career to play in the Championship during the last season where he played for Reading and West Bromwich (he scored five goals between both clubs). Now, he is without a team and his future looks increasingly uncertain at 33 years of age.

According to The Mirror, Cardiff City is the latest team to reject his services, after what happened with Bruges of Belgium. Carroll had interrupted his honeymoon to join the reigning Belgian champions, but he failed medical tests and the transfer fell through. With this scenario, his chances of finding a new team in his career are over.
