Some of us aren't still through Sadio Mané's departure from Anfield

Since he joined Liverpool in 2016, it was clear the Senegalese were the perfect choice on the starting lineup. Jurgen Klopp got a perfect partner for Mané one year later. And with the addition of Roberto Firmino, the Liverpool attack dominated the Premier League.

Nevertheless, nothing lasts forever and last summer Sadio Mané took a bold decision and ended his Liverpool run after six years of being part of the Red. With him, Liverpool reached three Champions League finals (winning in 2019), finally made the Reds lift the Premier League trophy and victories in Both FA Cup and the EFL cup.

That's why it was really weird when the news showed up that Sadio Mané decided to join Bayern Munich last summer. Now he plays for the most important team in Germany. But it seems that decision has affected both parties because neither Liverpool nor Mané have been the same. Did the Senegalese took the right choice?

Salif Diao thinks Jurgen Klopp took him out of Liverpool

Former Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao has accused Jurgen Klopp of being responsible for Sadio Mané's departure this summer, saying that Sadio Mane did not get the love he needed at Anfield. Salif Diao suggests a communication breakdown between Jurgen Klopp. Also, both Mané's and Salah's contract renewals were in evaluations and it's been reported that Klopp was more kin to keeping Salah than Mané. Only time will tell if the german manager took the right choice.
