Another of Klopp's favorites to the bench!

Liverpool's defense completely changed. It could be that the loss in the UEFA Champions League final still affects some players, or maybe it's just the big change that needs to be done to the current squad. Whatever the reason, Liverpool's defense isn't what it used to be.

There are icons like Van Dijk who, if healthy, will always be on the starting line-up, but lately two of Jurgen Klopp's favorites have underperformed. Right-back Alexander Arnold and left-back Andy Robertson.

Regarding Alexander, we can understand his low level. But who has had it worse is Robertson, who suffered a knee injury that keeps him out of the field. Although he is already close to recovery,  his place in the line-up is no longer secured.

A new defender is in town

Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas has shown that he has the level to be at Liverpool. Also, in recent games, he has proven his worth, especially against Ajax where he was a fundamental piece of the victory. Could it be that there is a new starting left-back for Liverpool?
