Anfield shock, player could leave Liverpool before Bournemouth game

A new departure from about

As much as the Reds have done an extraordinary strategic job so far with their midfield reinforcements, the only complaint that can be had from this institution is about how they have managed the issue of departures, and if the departures of Henderson and Fabinho can be justified with the arrival of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, the interest in players like Curtis Jones, Thiago Alcántara and others, could not have immediate replacements.

Faced with such an adverse situation in which there may be more departures than signings, Liverpool are aware that the sale of more players should be focused only on those who will not have the chance to play this year, with Nat Phillips being one of those selected to leave the club before the transfer window closes, at least that is what Anfield Edition on Twitter was able to report.

So far this exit is being kept low profile, as it is said that the 26-year-old English defender may not conclude his contract until the summer of 2025 in order to look for more playing options at another club in Europe, with only Feyenoord and Leeds United the two clubs reported to be interested in discussing the player's exit.

Liverpool look to compensate for departures

With the aim of not having a limited team that cannot perform with clarity the indications that Klopp has for them, the Reds will try in some way to replace all those players who leave the institution, and although at the moment there is only talk of the arrival of the Japanese, Wataru Endo, Klopp and his people will very possibly look for a defender for the next transfer markets to fill the void left by Phillips.
