This summer marked the end of Lionel Messi's European career, who after a brief spell at Paris Saint-Germain decided to move to MLS to join Inter Miami where he will receive the second highest salary in the world for a footballer. After his arrival, Messi has taken several of his former Barcelona teammates with him and now everything seems to indicate that he wants to reunite with one of his greatest soccer partners.

We are talking about Luis Suarez, who shared the stage with Messi for many years at Barcelona, after Suarez became an idol at Liverpool and shone at Anfield. In 2014, Suarez left Liverpool leaving almost 82 million euros to the Merseyside club and in Spain he conquered every possible trophy with the Catalan club.

Currently the Uruguayan striker, who for many is considered an Anfield legend due to his great performances and memorable goals with Liverpool, plays for Gremio of Brazil. But a few weeks ago, news circulated that saddened many fans, as it was said that Suarez could be considering retiring from professional football after a knee injury.

But now, it seems that Lucho still wants one last adventure next to his great friend Lionel Messi, as it has been reported from the United States that Inter Miami tried to sign him this summer, but Gremio did not allow his departure, however everything seems to indicate that the arrival of Luis Suarez to Miami is inevitable.

When will Luis Suarez arrive at Inter Miami?

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Luis Suarez has already reached an agreement with Gremio to finish his contract in December 2023, which originally ended in December 2024. Romano also assured that the club where Messi now plays is still interested in signing him as a free agent when his contract with the Brazilian club expires.
